We started Converge to bring energy and experience into small, growing businesses.
Converge Health Partners is an operator-led healthcare private equity firm. We buy, hold, and grow founder-owned healthcare services businesses across six subsectors: payor services, senior and home care, behavioral and mental health, professional services, revenue cycle management, and pharmacy and DME.
Our business model is straightforward. We acquire established healthcare services companies with a founder or management team seeking a partner for the next chapter. We hold them for the long term. Based on need, we place specific operating professionals from our own bench into the business on day one — and we run the same playbook we spent our careers running for other people’s portfolios: commercial excellence, process discipline, modern technology, and structuring teams with top-tier talent.
Founding partners Alex Rich and David Kulick built and sold their prior healthcare businesses, The Focus Group and Adaptation Health, where they advised on more than 150 healthcare transactions across the sector.
Today they guide Converge’s existing companies, their growth strategies, and new investment opportunities.
Payor policy fluency
We have worked inside a wide array of public healthcare programs on reimbursement methodology, managed-care design, quality programs, behavioral health, and long-term services and supports. We read the CMS Final Rule when it comes out.
Clinical delivery experience — without clinical risk
We do not underwrite high-acuity clinical models. We do understand how clinical delivery runs: staffing ratios, credentialing, prior authorization, referral relationships, and the quality reporting that decides whether a plan renews a vendor.
Claims and reimbursement mechanics
We have re-engineered operational processes and team structures to unlock tens of millions of dollars in cash. We know when better process beats new software, and when the reverse is true.
